The British Ministry of Defense claimed that the seized items included “surface-to-air missiles and cruise missile engines”. England claimed that this action is a violation of UN Security Council Resolutions 2231 and 2140.
London also claimed that the weapons were given to UN representatives who are responsible for assessing the conflict in Yemen and Iran’s nuclear activities.
England says that these cases were mentioned in the UN Secretary General’s report on the implementation of Resolution 2231, which was published in December 2022, and it is also expected that they will be mentioned in the annual report related to Security Council Resolution 2140.
